Are your products safe for pregnant users?
We formulate our products with safety for everyone, including pregnant and nursing moms, in mind. Our PhytoPeel Resurfacing Mask contains alpha hydroxy acids, which are considered safe during pregnancy and while nursing, but since skin can be extra sensitive during pregnancy, we recommend taking it slow and patch testing before a full application. However, we always recommend checking with your healthcare practitioner before incorporating any new products into your skincare routine while pregnant or nursing.
Can I use PhytoPeel Resurfacing Mask with sensitive skin?
If you have sensitive skin, we recommend patch testing our peel before a full-face application. To patch test, you simply apply a pea-sized amount of product to your jawline and wait for 2-3 hours. If you don’t experience any extreme stinging or other adverse reactions, you may apply it to your full face. We recommend that first-time users keep application time around 2 minutes, and eventually, build up to longer usage times of 10-15 minutes.
How often should I apply PhytoPeel Resurfacing Mask?
When first using our peel, we recommend using once or twice a week for 2-3 minutes per application. After regularly using for a couple of weeks, you can ramp up your usage to 2-3 times a week for up to 15 minutes. Be sure to apply sunscreen during the day when using our peel as alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun.
How should I apply Active-C Hydra Serum?
We recommend using this serum in the morning after cleansing and toning, before moisturizer and sunscreen. The triple-dose of next-generation vitamin C helps to protect your complexion from environmental aggressors like pollution and harmful UV rays. If you also like to include vitamin C in your evening routine, we recommend that you apply after cleansing and toning, before applying HydraRepair Rich Cream or another moisturizer.
Can I apply HydraRepair Rich Cream around my eyes?
Though we believe our cream is safe around the eye area, everyone’s skin is different. Try a small amount around your eyes before applying a full layer to ensure the eye-area application is safe for you.
Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes, to all of the above! We only test on willing human participants (Kira, Sharon, and team included).
What is the shelf-life of your products?
We recommend using all of our products within 6 months of opening. When unopened, our products will maintain their freshness for up to 24 months.

All orders are processed and shipped within 48 business hours, Monday through Friday.
What is your return policy?
If something doesn’t work for you, you can return your gently used product in its original packaging for a full refund within 14 days of receiving your order. Begin your return at Tête-À-Tête returns.
Packaging
How do I recycle my Tête-À-Tête skincare package?
All of our boxes and bottles are 100% recyclable. After you have finished your product, our glass packaging and plastic lids can be quickly rinsed and recycled, following your local recycling policies. To recycle the pump from our PhytoPeel Resurfacing Mask and our Active-C Hydra Serum, you will need to remove the metal spring.
